Tonight’s weigh in was soooo encouraging!!!!

I was honestly very discouraged over the last couple weeks. I lost 2 ounces gained 2 ounces…blah blah blah… But tonight’s loss was….*drum roll*…. 5.2 pounds!!!!!!! Yay for me!!!! bringing me down to 186.6!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Woo-Hoo! Yes there are lots of exclamations in this post, hey it was either that or caps lock…. Nobody wants to see a whole post in caps lock…

DIY Hula Hoops

So as soon as I get a little extra money the boys and I are going to make our own hula hoops… Yay! I’m excited. The exercise alone is awesome but also making the hoops with the boys will be sooooo fun…

Bad Hail and Thunderstorm

I was soooo ready to weigh in at weight watchers. I was feeling as cocky as a Llama (you know a Llama always looks cocky when they walk) but a bbbaaaaddd storm knocked out electricity in half the town and it was way way too bad out to drive sooo hopefully next Tuesday will be better…

Soaking walnuts and cashews for raw tacos and cashew sour cream tonight…Yay! Can’t wait but for now I am headed out with my boys for our evening run…. TTYL :o)

when u look at one piece at a time it doesnt make sense and it’s confusing...

but as you earn and find more pieces…

it slowly starts to paint the most beautiful picture of YOUR life….

and its only after all the pieces are together that it all makes sense.

For My Mom

I am sitting here reading all kinds of Mother’s Day status updates. It’s really, really sad how many people are saying Happy Mother’s Day to moms up in Heaven. I am so beyond fortunate to have my mom right here with me. She is like 6 miles down the road from me anytime I need her.

She has taught me, disciplined me, put up with me, cried with me, celebrated with me, comforted me, leaned on me, laughed with me, planned with me, took up for me, supported me, listened to me, talked to me, been there for me and showed me the way without ever judging me or questioning it. She has went without to give me everything I needed. Growing up I never understood the sacrifices she made and I never appreciated everything she did for me until I started doing the same things for my kids. I never would have been able to do it if I didn’t have her as a role model.

Despicable

So my family and I went outta town and stopped at a Japanese restaurant…

 We ordered the vegetable fried rice. I made sure there was no dairy, and no chicken broth etc….

 We got this beautiful large yummy mess of rice and vegetables.

 About three bites in I was like “omg is that egg?” 

Yep….it was… I sent it back quick and complained to beat hell… 

That was awful but the worst of the worst was the guy came to do the hibachi show at our table for my brother in laws order. 

Well he got out some eggs and started frying them up and then threw one at my 

brother in law, sister, my husband and me as part of the show. 

Not only did my husband and I already made it clear that we were vegan

 but now they are throwing eggs around and on the floor. 

My kids who are also vegan were horrified.
